Due to guidance around Covid-19 we've unfortunately had to cancel all Moving Forces activities until further notice. This includes archery, climbing, yoga and the football sessions at Man City, Curzon Ashton and Rochdale. Some activities that run independently (Mick's Walking Group for example) may still be running, but please check with the session leader if you're in any doubt.
The launch event for the watersports sessions at Debdale on 4th April has also been cancelled.
Although we're confident that this is the best course of action to ensure people's safety, we're also aware that people will miss having the regular sessions to look forward to each week and there is a risk that increased isolation may affect people's physical and mental health.
With this in mind, we're working hard to develop ideas to keep veterans and their families active and connected during this tricky time. Keep your eyes on the Moving Forces social media channels for developments with this.
In the meantime, please look out for each other, keep talking online and on the phone and if you need help in any way, make sure you reach out to your fellow vets and families. We're all part of a fantastic community who I know will move heaven and earth to help their brothers and sisters in any way they can.
Thanks
The Moving Forces Team
