Youth Mentor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Mentor to support and guide young individuals in their personal and educational development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and youth, providing them with the necessary tools to thrive in their daily lives. This role involves creating a positive and nurturing environment where young people can learn, grow, and build confidence.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one mentoring to youth, helping them set and achieve personal goals.
• Educate and engage young individuals through various activities that promote learning and development.
• Foster a supportive relationship with mentees, encouraging open communication and trust.
• Assist in the development of individualised plans tailored to each youth’s needs, including those with special educational requirements.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to help mentees improve their skills and confidence.
• Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each youth's development.
• Organise workshops or group activities that promote teamwork, leadership skills, and social interaction among peers.
