Spa Therapist

Trafford Leisure is on the lookout! An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Trafford Leisure team as part of our Therapist team. We are a Leading Leisure provider across Trafford and we work together to get the people of Trafford to move more everyday!

This is a pivotal point in our evolution as Trafford Council invest millions of pounds into the 5 main indoor leisure facilities in Trafford over the next 5 years. The ambitious investment program will see the portfolio of centres transformed into fit for purpose, accessible, inspiring spaces under a new brand of  for future generations to come. Alongside this we need to ensure we have a developed a committed team across Trafford Leisure to allow us to continue delivering the best service to our customer to help create opportunities for them to move more and live longer, healthier, happier lives.

The Role

The new spa is state-of-the-art with new and exciting experiences for our customers to relax Inside, pamper Inside, and indulge Inside. The Spa includes wellness experiences consisting of 9 different heat experiences, Relaxation room, dedicated nail bar and four treatment rooms.

An exciting opportunity for a Beauty Therapist has arisen and, under the guidance of the Spa Manager, you will be required to ensure that all operational procedures, codes of conduct and standards of appearance are adhered to.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Performing spa treatments
• Providing guests with homecare programmes
• Consultations
• Explaining services to guests
• Reception duties
• Supervising spa sessions
• Any point of sales including retail
• Checking in and checking out of all guests in a professional manner.

We are looking for motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at an exciting period of change for Trafford Leisure. You should demonstrate passion and motivation for the industry. Our ideal candidate must have a proven track record of achieving high levels of customer service, treatment standards and client satisfaction.

Please note an NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent is required. The ideal candidate will embody the Trafford Leisure Values of Making a Difference, being Open and Honest, Valuing Diversity and bringing Energy & Empathy into all ways of working.

Working Hours: 39 Hours or 25 Hours per week - please indicate your preference on the Application Form

Your primary location will be The Cove Spa Altrincham.
