Membership Consultant

When you join Your Trust as a Membership Consultant you will be part of a charity based in Rochdale that aims to support every member of our diverse community to live their best life; inspiring them to be healthier, happier and creative people.

• Salary: Band 2, £23,152 p.a. (pro-rata for part time) Plus OTE
• Hours: 37 Hours per week - FTC up to 6 months
• Location: Across both sites Heywood Sports Village and Middleton Arena

For Internal applicants a job secondment will be considered.

What will my role be as a Membership Consultant?

Your role will be to provide a professional, efficient and high quality service to customers of Your Trust. This includes being responsible for generating external sales of fitness memberships to prospective members along with increasing the revenue of the business through achievement of pre-set membership targets.

What do I need to have?

• Qualified to GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English
• Previous experience of working in a customer focussed or service environment
• Previous experience of dealing with customers
• Previous experience of generating income through business to business or direct customer sales experience
• Friendly, outgoing person who likes to work with different clients
• Ability to follow laid down procedures, work under pressure and without constant supervision
• Ability to work within a team with common objectives
• Ability to use own initiative and think commercially to support the development of the membership offer and service
• Good level of numeracy / literacy skills
• Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent time management skills
