The Chair is responsible for the effectiveness of the Trustee Board, and provides leadership and direction for Active Cheshire. It is not the Chair’s job to run the organisation, but rather to ensure that it is well run by deploying strong governance arrangements.

We value both your lived experience and your perspective, as much as professional experience. We’re looking for personal attributes to lead and complement our existing board and create an effective team.

Oversee development and regular review of strategy for Active Cheshire, taking into account the challenges and opportunities facing the organisation, and with input from the CEO.
